In November 2006, he went on a drug binge after being misdiagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a serious heart condition. He was later examined by heart specialists who concluded he was in good health. In 2007, Steve-O starred in his own television show called Dr. Steve-O on the USA Network.

Who is the doctor that listened to Steve O’s raspy voice?
So he went to Dr. J. Randolph Schnitman, MD—an otolar yngologist to the stars who regularly consults with top artists like Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Ozzy Osbourne, and Linkin Park—to find the reason behind the rasp. After looking at Steve-O’s vocal cords, the doctor comes back with a solid answer.
Since finding out that he sucks at talking, Steve-O has been working with a voice coach to retrain his voice to speak with his vocal chords and not his throat muscles (and videos of the session are pretty hilarious). “But I don’t even know if I want my voice to change,” Steve-O concludes.
Who was Lange’s nose repaired by?
Botched surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif offered to fix Lange’s nose. But he had a stern warning. “When you have a lot of trauma to the septum, the septum is a partition that divides the left and the right nasal cavity,” Nassif told TMZ. “Because if I go and rebuild that nose, and I have to use tissue from the scalp.”.

While Steve-O’s voice is au naturel, comedian Artie Lange destroyed his nose from inadvertently snorting crushed glass along with crushed OxyContin tablets. Fans noticed that Lange’s nose seemed smashed or deflated in 2018. He addressed his appearance on Twitter. “This is it but I believe her nose had a septum and had not been hideously deformed due to over 3 decades of drug abuse,” he wrote.
